If you’re looking for an option that provides direct access to mental health professionals, try Talkspace. This app is more expensive at $69 per week, but it provides you a personal therapist that you can message anytime in the chat room, as well as the option to schedule live video sessions with your therapist. This online therapy option may be more affordable than an in-person therapist, but it also provides 24/7 access to support.

Addiction is a mental health-related issue that isn’t brought up as much as mental illnesses. This free app helps people tackle bad habits and addiction in an effective way. You can track habits that you want to quit, including but not limited to smoking, drinking alcohol, and using drugs. Just like you’d go to the doctor if you break your arm instead of “toughing it out”, you should do the same if you’re experiencing low mental health or mental illness.
